January 27, 2012 |
Network of Indian Agri-Business Incubators (NIABI) 2012, the 2nd global conference on agribusiness incubation, is being jointly organized by the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) and Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR) - NAIP from Feb 6-8, 2012 in New Delhi, India. The three-day conference aims to promote the concept of ‘agricultural development through agribusiness' and looks at entrepreneurship as the focal point in developing strategies to address the many challenges faced by the agricultural sector.
The conference aims to bring more clarity in the evolving field of agribusiness and agribusiness incubation, make improvements for more efficient transfer of technology, enable further cross functional linkages and integrate all of them to create an ecosystem for the creation of agribusiness ventures and incubators that can ultimately benefit the farmers and the rural community.
