GAIN Report: Biotechnology – GE Plants and Animals in Croatia

A 10- page Global Agricultural Information Network (GAIN) Report on Biotechnology – GE Plants and Animals in Croatia has just been recently published by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service. The Report highlights the preparation of the amendments to the Law on GMO that was adopted in 2009, which is expected to be adopted by October 2010. The Law will oversee the importing and growing of GMO crops and products by the state.
