
Agrigenomics World Congress

Brussels, Belgium is the venue for the Agrigenomics World Congress set for July 8-9, 2010. AgriGenomics is the detailed study of the genetic makeup of plants and how all the genes work together to produce the crop. Topics include among others: RNA silencing mechanisms in plants, the use of microarrays and bioinformatics, optimization of growth for food and biofuel, and enhancing plant resistance to disease.
