
International Seminar on "Biotechnology for a Sustainable Future"

An International Seminar on "Biotechnology for a Sustainable Future" will be conducted on 15 – 16 September 2009 at Udayana University, Sudirman Campus, Indonesia. The International Seminar aims to bring together researchers, scientists, representatives from the private sector, and students to share and discuss their new ideas, research projects and experiences on biotechnology. The event organized by Udayana University will cover topics on agricultural biotechnology, health, environmental biotechnology, microbiology, and food technology. Invited keynote speakers include Prof. Dr. Barry Marshall (Nobel Laurate - Australia), Prof. Dr. H. Kandori (Light Sensor Protein - NIT Japan) and Prof. Tim Hirst (John Curtin School of Medical Research-The Australian National University).
