
FAO-Organized Biotech Conference in Mexico

The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is organizing a conference on Agricultural biotechnologies in developing countries (ABDC): Options and opportunities in crops, forestry, livestock, fisheries and agro-industry to face the challenges of food insecurity and climate change. The conference will take place in Guadalajara, Mexico on 2-5 November 2009. The conference is co-organized by the Government of Mexico and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
