
14th European Congress on Biotechnology

The European Congress on Biotechnology will be held on September 13 to 16, 2009 in Barcelona, Spain. The Congress which is organized every two years gathered 1350 participants from 75 countries around the world at the 13th edition. This14th edition will bring together international researchers, young scientists, executives, entrepreneurs and policy makers from all disciplines of biotechnology. This year's focus is on bringing the benefits of biotechnology to society and, with the central theme of SYMBIOSIS – Science, Industry & Society, will address biotech innovations and how they can contribute to face the global challenges to humanity.
