
GMO/LMO Risk Assessment Workshop in Cambodia

The ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity, in collaboration with Cambodia’s Ministry of the Environment, will conduct a "Workshop on Risk Assessment of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) / Living Modified Organisms (LMOs) and Enforcement of Biosafety Regulations" on June 22-24, 2008 in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The workshop aims to help enhance regional capacity, promote better understanding, and strengthen cooperation in the ASEAN region by providing a venue for information sharing of up-to-date scientific information on emerging areas of biosafety and risk assessment.
