ISAAA Videos Win International Awards

Several documentary videos produced by the International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-biotech Applications (ISAAA) won several international awards in 2007. The videos produced in collaboration with MAD Comm, Ltd. are part of a series documenting Third World experiences of small farmers using crops developed through biotechnology. The awards are:
- Honorable Mention, The 24th International Film Festival Agrofilm 2007 prize of the Food and Agriculture Organization (Osiris) for "Asia's First: The Bt Corn Story in the Philippines"
- Gold Remi Award (Agriculture), The Houston International Film Festival for "The Bt Corn Story in the Philippines"
- Bronze Remi Award (Science and Research), The Houston International Film Festival for "Fruits of Partnership"
- Bronze Winner, 28th Annual Telly Awards for "ISAAA Corporate Video"
- Finalist, New York Festivals, International Film and Video for "Fruits of Partnership"
- Recognition, The 24th International Film Festival Agrofilm 2007 prize of the Food and Agriculture Organization (Osiris) for "Nurturing the Seeds of Cooperation: The Papaya Biotechnology Network of Southeast Asia"
- Recognition, Vedere la Scienza 1st International Scientific TV, Film and AV Media Festival, Italy Category C: Documentaries by Research Institutions and Museums for the video "Fruits of Partnership"
The videos including "The Bt Cotton Story in India", and "Silver Fields of Gold: The Bt Cotton Story in China" are available via video streaming at http://www.isaaa.org/kc
