
ICRISAT Signs MoU with NZ Crop and Food Research

The International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with New Zealand’s Crop and Food Research that will benefit crop science research in India and New Zealand. ICRISAT Director General William Dar stated that the collaboration will strengthen both countries’ national research institutes. Under the MoU, the organizations will work together to develop a Bio Food Knowledge Center (BFKC) at the Agri-Science Park within ICRISAT. The proposed center will be the hub for research on neutraceuticals, biofortification and food technology. ICRISAT Director General William Dar and Crop and Food Research CEO Mark Ward signed the MoU.
