Risk Analysis and Biosafety Workshop in Buenos Aires

An advanced training course in risk analysis and biosafety in agri-biotechnology is being organized by the Secretariat of Agriculture, SAGPyA, University of Buenos Aires, and the International Life Sciences Institute. This will be held from March 24-April 11, 2008 in Buenos Aires. Topics to be discussed include biosafety and the regulatory framework as they relate to agri-biotechnology; process for evaluation and approval of GM crops; and biosafety in the global and Argentinean context.
