Gabon to Benefit from Chinese Agric Expertise

As part of the agreement signed by China, Gabon, and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) under FAO’s South-South Cooperation initiative, China will be sending its agricultural experts and technicians to Gabon to help local farmers improve agricultural productivity and ensure access to food for all. The Chinese specialists will assist the Government of Gabon for two years in implementing the first phase of the country’s Special Programme for Food Security. In addition to personnel, the Government of China will also provide inputs, tools and equipment for the technologies being introduced by its experts.
