Syngenta to Start Field Trials of GM Maize in Romania

Syngenta Agro SLR will be the first company to grow genetically modified maize in Romania after it has been granted approval by the Romanian Ministry for the Environment for field trials of the GM maize. The authorization remains valid until 2009.
