Prof. Calestous Juma or Harvard Kennedy School released an article titled Global Risk of Rejecting Agricultural Biotechnology. According to the article, a growing backlash against GM foods in some African countries has created a harsh political atmosphere under which tight regulations are being developed. Thus, policymakers should consider whether overregulation of GM crops is warranted.
