Dow AgroSciences receives U.S. patent for Enlist corn

Dow AgroSciences received the U.S. Patent for the 2,4-D herbicide tolerance event in corn. The event is based on Enlist herbicide-tolerant traits, and provides tolerance to broadleaf and grass herbicides, including 2,4-D and the FOP herbicides. Pending regulatory approvals, Dow AgroSciences expects to launch Enlist corn in 2015 in the U.S.
