Vietnam's First Science Museum by 2018

Vietnam will open its first-ever science museum in the southern province of Dong Nai in 2018. Work on the site will begin in 2015 with an estimated investment of US$60-70 million in total. Pham Van Sang, director of Dong Nai Science and Technology Department said the museum will be located in an area of 250,000 square meters in Xuan Duong Commune, Cam My District.

The museum will have three main sections namely a static display section, a special exhibition section and an outdoor section.The exhibits will include items on scientific history, as well as illustrations of achievements in all fields of science including geology, physics, chemistry, biology, and environmental science, local media have reported.
