Valuing New Random GM Traits: The Case of Drought Tolerant Wheat

Scientists at North Dakota University published a review analyzing the value of genetically engineered corn at different stages of development. Authors Sumadhur Shakya, William Wilson, and Bruce Dahl used a stochastic binomial model of real options and found that the value of drought tolerant wheat is in-the-money during each stage of development.
