2011 Biotech Humanitarian Award

The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) in now accepting nominations for the Biotech Humanitarian Award which is given to an individual who, through his/her work in or support of biotechnology, is "harnessing its potential to heal, fuel or feed the planet." The recipient of the award will receive $10,000 and will be presented at the 2011 BIO International Convention which will be held in Washington, DC on June 27-30, 2011.
