Risk Management Agency Approves Pilot Biotechnology Endorsement Program

Corn farmers in the 12 Midwest states: Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin will benefit from the recent approval of the Pilot Biotechnology Endorsement (BE) program offered by the Risk Management Agency of the USDA for Monsanto's Monsanto's Genuity® SmartStax® RIB Complete™ for crop insurance premium reduction. This will be true for all hybrids that contain the Genuity SmartStax RIB Complete technology. In addition, Genuity® SmartStax, Genuity® VT Triple PRO™ and YieldGard VT Triple® corn hybrids may also qualify for insurance premium discount through the program.
