Working Together to Support Japan and the Global Community

Three international agencies: Food and Agriculture Organization, International Atomic Energy Agency and the World Health Organization are joining hands to mobilize knowledge and expertise in support of the ongoing efforts by the Japanese government to address food safety issues since the events of March 11.
Food products sampling have been conducted near the nuclear plant explosions in Fukushima Daiichi Plants and results are communicated by the Japanese authorities publicly. The International agencies have been supporting Japan in giving advice to consumers and producers regarding safety measures.
