
China's Agri S and T Road Map by 2050

What are the agricultural development challenges and opportunities facing China and the world by 2050? This and other concerns are addressed in a report China's Agriculture Science and Technology Road Map up till 2050 written by the Agriculture Field Strategic Research Group, Chinese Academy of Science (CAS). Published in September 2009, the report also predicts the significant demands for agricultural science and technology in China and development strategies and policy suggestions.
The report is one of a series on Technological Revolution and China's Future - Innovation 2050 launched by CAS in Beijing. Other topics in the report include: agricultural development outlook and its demand for science and technology by 2050, plant and animal germplasm resources and modern breeding technology road map, resource-saving agricultural technology development road map, and agricultural production and food safety technology development road map.
