Deutsche Bank Report: The Global Food Equation

A new study released by the Deutsche Bank looked at the current state of food security in the world. Lead author, Claire Schaffnit-Chatterjee, wrote that the world's growing population can be fed, provided the right actions are taken. This requires sustained productivity growth in the agricultural sector in an environmentally and socially sustainable manner. The authors also recognized the importance of innovation through a cross-sectoral approach, particularly in the fields of Information and communication technologies and biotechnology.
