2009 Science Forum in the Netherlands

The Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) is organizing a science forum in partnership with the Global Forum on Agricultural Research (GFAR). The forum will be hosted by the Wageningen University in the Netherlands, on 16-17 June 2009. Science Forum 2009 will focus on mobilizing global linkages for development impact and directly contributes towards the 2010 Global Conference on Agricultural Research for Development (GCARD). Workshop themes include: Beyond the yield curve: exerting the power of genetics, genomics and synthetic biology and Agriculture beyond food: science for a bio-based economy, among others.
