USAID Oks Second Phase for PBS

The United States Agency for International Development gave another five year grant to the International Food Policy Research Institute-managed Program for Biosafety Systems (PBS), a partnership program for biosafety capacity development. The second phase of the project will support partner countries in developing fully functional biosafety regulatory systems and facilitating scientific review and decision making on genetically-modified (GM) products.
