Nomination Open for Mahathir Science Award 2008

The Academy of Sciences Malaysia is inviting nominations for the Mahathir Science Award for 2008. The award is bestowed on any scientist, institution or organization worldwide in recognition of contributions and innovations towards solving problems in the tropics through science and technology. The prize for the Award will be RM100,000.00 (approximately US$33,333.00), a gold medal and a certificate. The application form can be downloaded from http://www.akademisains.gov.my.
