CGIAR Calls for Stakeholders' Feedback for More Extensive Action Plan

August 24, 2012

The Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) Consortium appeals to the public, particularly to its stakeholders, to provide feedback to be incorporated in the organization's draft of Strategy and Results Framework (SRF) for sustainable agricultural development.

The CGIAR Consortium is now working on an Action Plan to augment the SRF, focusing on foresight, prioritization and connecting the performance of the CGIAR Research Programs to the system-level outcomes. This Action Plan will both influence the current and future direction of research within CGIAR. As it will be a key CGIAR document, the organization wants the stakeholders to be able to provide feedback on the document during the drafting process.

Those who have registered will receive access to the draft during the first week of September. Consultation on the draft document will take place September 3-9, 2012 and there will be a discussion on the key issues arising from the consultation on September 24-30.
