Syngenta's Agrisure RW Approved in Mexico

Syngenta has obtained regulatory approval in Mexico for their corn rootworm resistant Agrisure® RW. Cultivation of Agrisure RW has previously been approved in the United States, Canada and Japan. It has also gained import approval in several countries like Australia and New Zealand. Agrisure RW contains a modified synthetic (mCry3Aa) gene from Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) for control of northern, western and Mexican corn rootworms. Syngenta introduced Agrisure biotech traits for corn globally in 2005 with the introduction of Agrisure GT, a glyphosate tolerant GM corn.
