Online Knowledge Bank to Help Farmers Fight Crop Pests and Diseases
The Center for Agricultural Bioscience International (CABI) has launched a free online database which is designed to help extension workers, government organizations, researchers and farmers in developing countries to diagnose, treat and prevent plant pests and diseases.
The database, dubbed as the Plantwise Knowledge Bank, brings together key plant health information from across the world, including a useful diagnostic tool and factsheet library to help diagnose and manage plant health problems. The Knowledge Bank also provides clear, actionable treatment advice on the most prevalent pests and diseases.
To access the database, go to http://www.plantwise.org/KnowledgeBank/home.aspx.
