NCGC and KBCH Sign MOU for Sharing Information

The National Center for GM Crops (NCGC) of the Rural Development Administration  and Korea Biosafety Clearing House (KBCH) of the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology signed a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding for sharing information.  The signing was held at the Ramada Plaza, Suwon City, South Korea on April 24, 2012.

In this meeting, participants discussed sustainable developments on status and issues of GM crops. The  Korea Biotechnology Information Center (KBIC) of the NCGC and KBCH will plan collaborative activities to discuss ways to commercialize GM crops and change consumer attitudes towards the technology. Other topics to be tackled include information, policy, and communication-related issues on GM crops.
