Feeds: Genetically Modified

Fred Owens and Matthias Liebergesell of Pioneer Hi-Bred International discussed the benefits of GM technology to the feed industry, especially with the release of next generation of GM crops. Extensive collection of safety data and review by regulatory agencies will assure that the commercial transgenic crops and feedstuff derived from such crops will produce animal products and human foods that are as safe or safer than from crops developed by other selection procedures.
