Call for Papers: 242nd ACS National Meeting and Exposition, Denver

The American Chemical Society is calling for papers for its upcoming National Meeting and Exposition on 28 August to 1 September, 2011 in Denver, Colorado. The theme will be "Modern Agriculture and Biotechnology – Tools for Sustainability." Among the suggested topics are Sustainability – current science-based technologies, innovations, and the path forward; Biotechnology tools and methods to enhance or monitor agricultural sustainability (e.g. drought and disease tolerant crops, support ecosystem health; Agrochemical innovations; and Sustainability from field to fork.
Abstracts (150 words or less) must be submitted on-line at http://www.abstracts.acs.org/ by March 21, 2011(after that date contact Jeanette Van Emon US EPA, at +1-702-798-2154, vanemon.jeanette@epa.gov).
