AIAST-Tasmanian Division to Conduct Agricultural R & D Symposium

The Tasmanian Division of the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology (AIAST) will be having a public symposium on future planning of Tasmanian agriculture on 27 October 2010 at the Tram Sheds Conference Center, Invermay, Launceston.

The symposium program is divided into four sessions. The first session is titled A Sense of Urgency, followed by The Need for a Strategy to Build Rural Industry Capacity. The third session will be about case studies of research, development and extension models. The last session will bring the ideas together with a facilitated discussion and dialogue.
