Conference on Food Security and Climate Change in Dry Areas

The International Conference on Food Security and Climate Change in Dry Areas will be held in Amman, Jordan on October 12-15, 2009. It is being organized, among others, by the National Center for Agricultural Research and Extension of the Ministry of Agriculture, Jordan and the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Lands. The conference will enable an exchange of experiences on food security issues expected to be impacted by climate change especially in the dry areas. Technologies, economic/policy options and development priorities to cope with climate change will also be identified.
