Biosafenet Conference 2009

The Biosafenet Conference is scheduled to be held on June 29, 2009 at the Julius-Kuhn Institute in Berlin, Germany. Biosafenet, an EU-funded network of European scientists, aims to contribute to a responsible and sustainable application of genetically modified organisms in European agriculture by promoting informed discussion of the scientific issues related to GMO biosafety. Other EU-funded initiatives such as the Public Research and Regulation Initiative (PRRI) and the International Society for Biosafety Research, will also present their activities in the conference.
