Ghanaian Journalists Trained in Biotechnology

The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) and Africa Harvest Foundation International (Africa Harvest) organized a biosafety workshop for Ghanaian journalists to help them report biotechnology news more accurately. Resource persons from Africa Harvest and Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) talked about biotechnology, its benefits and Ghana's biosafety regulation. Dr. Stephen Amoah, research scientist from CSIR said that Ghana has a legislative instrument that has been adopted to allow biotechnology research under confined conditions.
