Science Forum 2009

The first Science Forum 2009 will be held on June 16 and 17, 2009 in Wageningen, Netherlands. It is organized by the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) Science Council, in partnership with the CGIAR Secretariat, the Global Forum on Agricultural Research (GFAR) and Wageningen University. It seeks to open doors for global research partnerships that will explore new applications of advanced science. Science Forum 2009 directly contributes towards the 2010 Global Conference on Agricultural Research for Development (GCARD). Participation is open and the forum seeks to have a balanced representation among various sectors.
