April 3, 2009 |
Syngenta and Dow AgroSciences have announced an agreement to cross license their respective corn traits for commercialization within their branded seed businesses. Syngenta will have access to Dow's Herculex traits, which include Herculex I for broad lepidopteran control and to Herculex RW for corn rootworm control. Dow AgroSciences, on the other hand, will receive global non-exclusive licenses with stacking rights to the Switzerland-based company's Agrisure GT trait for glyphosate tolerance and Agrisure CB/LL and RW for corn borer and corn rootworm resistance.
