For 25 years, the ISAAA e-newsletter (now Biotech Updates) has been a trusted global resource for news and research in crop biotechnology. What started in 2001 has grown into a vital information hub, demonstrating its commitment to delivering high-quality, relevant content to its audience.
Today, Biotech Updates continues to reach over 20,000 subscribers across 172 countries. Recent feedback survey confirms its significant impact:
- 96% of surveyed subscribers found the weekly e-newsletter useful, attesting to its consistent quality.
- A strong 70% of respondents engage with Biotech Updates weekly, demonstrating its relevance and timeliness.
- 96% also gave high ratings for the newsletter's clarity and comprehensive coverage, underscoring its effectiveness in delivering complex information accessibly.
- Notably, 63% of subscribers are researchers and academics, emphasizing the e-newsletter's crucial role in supporting cutting-edge research and instruction globally.
Beyond weekly news, the e-newsletter includes the Science Speaks blog, offering deeper dives into biotechnology and science communication. Additionally, the Gene Editing Supplement provides bi-weekly updates on research, tools, policy, trends, and public acceptance of gene editing.
