The 4th International Rice Blast Conference is to be held on 9-14 October, 2007 in Hunan, China. Rice blast, caused by the fungal pathogen Magnaporthe grisea, is one of the most destructive rice diseases worldwide. The scheduled conference will review the recent progress and discuss future research directions aiming at better control of this rice disease. More information at http://www.4thirbc.org..
