A regional workshop with the theme "Principles of Biosafety Research for the Release of Genetically Engineered Crops" will be held on 4-9 February 2007 in Khartoum, Sudan. The workshop is organized by the Sudan’s Ministry of Science and Technology, International Service for National Agricultural Research (ISNAR), and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) Ethiopia.
