GM Approval Updates

February 19, 2015 Japan has approved the maize event 4114 (HT + IR) for Type 1 cultivation. 
February 18, 2015 The new Arctic™ Apple events GD743 (Golden Delicious) and GD784 (Granny Smith), with the non-browning phenotype, have been deregulated by the United States of America.
January 28, 2015 Mexico has given food approvals to a new cotton event  MON88701 x MON88913 x MON15985 (HT + IR) and two herbicide tolerant soybean events, FG72 and DAS44406 in 2014. 
January 26, 2015 Taiwan granted food approvals to three (3) events: COT102 (cotton), MON89034 x TC1507 x NK603 x DAS40278 (maize) and the new event TC1507 x MON810 x MIR162 (maize).
January 20, 2015 The United States has granted the non-regulated status to herbicide tolerant events MON88701 (cotton) and MON87708 (soybean).
January 5, 2015 The Russian Federation approved the insect resistant maize event 5307 for food and feed in 2014. 
December 19, 2014 Malaysia has approved the herbicide tolerant soybean event FG72 for food and feed. 
December 9, 2014 Canada has approved the alfalfa event KK179 (altered lignin content) for food, feed and cultivation.
December 4, 2014 Canada has approved the soybean events DAS81419 and MON87751 for food, feed and cultivation use.
December 3, 2014 South Korea has given six (6) new approvals: Herbicide tolerant and Insect tolerant maize 3272 x Bt11 x MIR604 x TC1507 x 5307 x GA21 (food) Herbicide tolerant maize GA21 x T25 (feed) Herbicide tolerant maize TC1507 × MON810 × MIR604 × NK603 (feed) Herbicide tolerant soybean DAS44406 (feed) Herbicide tolerant soybean DAS68416 (feed) and Herbicide tolerant soybean SYHTØH2 (food).
December 1, 2014 Taiwan has recently granted food approvals to two (2) maize events, GA21 x T25 (Herbicide tolerant) and TC1507 x MON810 (Herbicide tolerant and Insect resistant).
November 21, 2014 Australia has granted cultivation approval to the herbicide-tolerant canola event MON88302.
November 12, 2014 USA has granted non-regulated status to alfalfa event KK179 (altered lignin content).
November 12, 2014 USA has granted non-regulated status to ten (10) new InnateTM Potato events: E12, E24, F10, F37, G11, H37, H50, J3, J55 and J78. InnateTM potatoes have Reduced Acrylamide Potential and Black Spot Bruising tolerance.
November 5, 2014 Australia and New Zealand approved the new herbicide-tolerant cotton event 81910 for food use.
November 3, 2014 Brazil has recently approved the insect-resistant maize event MIR604 for food, feed and cultivation.
October 23, 2014 Singapore has recently approved the herbicide-tolerant maize event T25.
October 20, 2014 The United States of America has approved the soybean event MON87751 for food, feed and cultivation (non-regulated status).
October 16, 2014 Colombia has approved six (6) new maize events: DAS40278, MON87427, MON87460 x NK603, MON87460 x MON89034 x MON88017, MON87460 x  MON89034 x NK603, MON89034 x TC1507 x NK603.
October 16, 2014 Three (3) new events were added to the GM Approval Database: GA21 x T25 (Herbicide-Tolerant Maize)
MON88302 x RF3 & MON88302 x MS8 x RF3 (Canola events with Herbicide-tolerance and Pollination Control).
