UK Ministers Order Temporary Halt to GM Dialogue Project

United Kingdom ministers have confirmed to the Food Standards Agency that the GM (genetic modification) dialogue project will not continue using the existing format. The details of the Government's policy on GM technology in food agriculture are still being established, and thus, any future public engagement will be an element of this.

The GM dialogue project is coordinated by the Food Standards Agency under the previous UK government, with the objective of discussing consumers' perceptions on GM.
