Food Biotech Seminar in Indonesia

A biotech seminar entitled “Transgenic Food: Is it Safe for Health?” will be held on 27 April 2008 at the Faculty of Medicine Auditorium of the Sudirman University, Purwokerto. The event is organized by the Indonesian Biotechnology Student Forum (IBSF); Faculty of Medicine, Sudirman University; and Indonesian Biotechnology Information Centre (IndoBIC). The seminar aims to provide insights on the application of transgenic technologies in food products, and information on its benefits in the areas of health and medicine to the members of the academe and students of the Faculty of Medicine, Sudirman University.
