Global Map of Biotech Crop Adoption, Importation, and Field Trials

GMO Answers published a map showing the countriesthat planted, imported, and tested biotech crops in 2012. According to the map, a total of 74 countries have certified biotech products for planting, food import for people and animals, and field testing. Data used in the map were sourced from ISAAA, Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), US Department of Agriculture, and Africa Biosafety Network of Expertise (ABNE).
