Biotech Contributes to Tripled US Farm Output with Less Inputs
The US farm output has nearly tripled from the 1948 level in 2021, with an average annual increase of 1.46. The increased productivity is widely agreed to be the top contributor to the economic growth of US agriculture. These data are presented in the Summary of Recent Findings released by the US Department of Agriculture Economic Research Service (ERS) regarding agricultural productivity in the US.

ISAAA Inc. and BCP Boost Youth's Appreciation for Gene Editing of Livestock and Aquaculture
Gene Genies: Gene Editing by Filipino Scientists (Applications in Livestock and Aquaculture) is a webinar organized by ISAAA Inc., in collaboration with the Biotechnology Coalition of the Philippines (BCP), held on February 26, 2024. The webinar aimed to raise awareness and appreciation of gene editing applications to livestock and aquaculture. The webinar was attended by 35 participants, mostly high school and college students, from different schools and colleges.
