Delayed Ripening

Many countries like the Philippines could easily increase their exports of mango but due to heavy post harvest losses resulting from spoilage, they are unable to keep up with the demand. Hence, the delayed-ripening (DR) technology that ensures fruits to stay fresh longer is now being applied to mangoes.
