New Accelerated Breeding Platforms Introduced for Specialty Crops |
|
Two new crop innovation tools called Genesis and Genova have been added to the gene editing toolbox by Verinomics, a company that specializes in agricultural genomics and gene editing. Genesis is a transgene-free gene editing platform designed for vegetatively propagated crops, while Genova is a genomic-driven breeding acceleration platform for both seeds and vegetatively propagated crops. These new technologies simplify trait discovery and product development while delivering high-value, market-ready crops in a short time.
