First Xtend® Soybean Cultivars Hit the Market in Brazil |

The Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) and Fundação Meridional have launched the first soybean cultivars with Xtend® (XTD) technology in Brazil to celebrate Embrapa's 49 years. The soybean cultivars BRS 2553XTD and BRS 2558XTD, both tolerant to glyphosate and dicamba herbicides, are excellent refuge options for Intacta 2Xtend® (I2X) technology.

China Approves Drought Tolerant HB4® Soybeans |
|
Bioceres Crop Solutions Corp. announced on April 29, 2022, that China's Ministry of Agriculture has given its approval for the import and use as a raw material of soybeans produced using Bioceres' proprietary drought tolerance technology, HB4®. Beijing Da Bei Nong Science and Technology Group Co. Ltd., Bioceres' partner in China has confirmed the approval.

PH Judiciary Officials Get Updates on Biotech Regulations |

A total of 215 participants, mostly from the judiciary branch of the Philippine government, participated in the Webinar on Biotechnology and Regulation in the Philippines on April 29, 2022, via Zoom. The webinar, which was also attended by some international members of the general public, was a collaborative event organized by ISAAA Inc. and Winrock International through the Building Safe Agricultural Food Enterprises (B-SAFE) Project.
