International Maize Conference in Sulawesi, Indonesia

The Ministry of Agriculture of Indonesia, in collaboration with the provincial government of Gorontalo, Indonesia will hold the International Maize Conference (IMC) on October 2-4, 2012.

The upcoming conference will try to (1) facilitate undertanding among stakeholders in addressing the problems of the world maize production related to food security and alternative energy resources; and (2) share and exchange ideas/information of maize research results between scientists, researchers, policy makers, industries, and farmers.
