GIPB Presents National Plant Breeding Programs of 35 Countries

The Global Partnership Initiative for Plant Breeding Capacity Building (GIPB) announced the presentation of national plant breeding programs of 35 countries in the GIPB website. In each country folder, information is provided on the brief background of the country and its agriculture, presents the on-going plant breeding activities in each crop and the institutions involved.  Countries are encouraged to check the website and send comments and updated information. Countries which are not yet included may send their contributions following the format and structure of the presented information. This is an attempt by the GIPB team to put together and publish plant breeding activities for global consumption, understanding and possible use.
