International ISHS/ProMusa Symposium on Global Perspectives on Asian Challenges

ProMusa, in collaboration with the Guang Dong Academy for Agricultural Sciences (GDAAS), the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) and Bioversity's Banana and Plantain Regional Network for Asia and the Pacific (BAPNET) will be holding the "International Banana Symposium: Global Perspectives on Asian Challenges" to be held in Guang Dong, China, September 14-18, 2009. There will be two symposia that will cover novel approaches to understanding, conserving and using banana genetic diversity, and integrated approaches to managing Fusarium wilt and other emerging disease threats.
